RAPTURE
"Rapture" is a photographic collection that captures the natural beauty and strength of the female form. Inspired by the romanticism found in Renaissance sculptures and paintings, this project focuses on showcasing the inherent elegance of the human body. Each photograph in 'Rapture' reflects a blend of modern photography with classical ideals, highlighting the artistry in the female form.
The collection also touches on broader societal themes, comparing how women’s bodies were depicted in the Renaissance to how they are viewed today. It raises questions about how societal attitudes toward women’s bodies have changed, particularly in a time when social norms often dictate how women should present themselves. 'Rapture' uses its imagery to encourage viewers to think about these issues and consider how women’s bodies are represented and controlled in society."

ADDRESSING THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
As a straight man, I’m aware that my perspective in creating 'Rapture' may raise some eyebrows. It’s important to me to acknowledge this upfront. My intent with this project is not to impose my views but to open a dialogue about how society views and regulates the female form. While I understand the concerns that can come with a man taking on this subject, my focus is on celebrating the beauty and strength of women through a respectful lens. My hope is that 'Rapture' encourages all of us to think more critically about these issues, regardless of who is behind the camera.
